Who we are
Most businesses don't have a technology problem; they have a clarity problem.
Data lives in too many places. Processes depend on someone remembering to do something. Decisions get made on gut feel because the numbers aren't trustworthy. Teams stay busy, but busy isn't the same as productive.
Iron River Technologies helps small and mid-sized businesses organize their data, streamline their processes, and implement intelligent workflows that deliver real value. We do the unglamorous work of building a solid foundation, then layer in automation and agentic workflows that turn information into action. The result: companies that move smarter, teams freed from wasted motion, and leaders who can act on insights instead of hunting for them.
What to Expect When Working With Us
You're considering bringing in outside help to improve your systems. That's a big decision, and you probably want to know what the process actually looks like before you commit to anything.
Here's how we work, from first conversation to project completion.
Step 1: Fit Meeting
This is where we start. A 30 to 60 minute call to understand your initial needs—what's working, what's not, and what you're hoping to solve.
We're not pitching you here. We're listening. By the end, we'll have a clear picture of whether we're the right fit for what you need. If we are, we'll put together a summary of understanding and schedule a discovery call to go deeper.
If we're not the right fit, we'll tell you that too—and point you in a better direction if we can.
Step 2: Discovery Call
This is where we dig in.
Most projects aren't simple. They involve multiple systems, multiple workflows, and details that only surface when you start asking the right questions. The discovery call is a deep dive into the specifics so we can build a true scope of work—not a guess.
After discovery, you'll receive a proposal that includes:
Exactly what we'll deliver
Timeline and milestones
Costs for the engagement
No surprises. You'll know what you're getting, when you're getting it, and what it costs before you sign anything.
Step 3: Proposal & Agreement
Once you've reviewed the proposal and we've answered any questions, we'll finalize the service agreement. This locks in the scope, timeline, and terms—and gives us everything we need to get started.
Step 4: Kickoff Meeting
This is where the real work begins.
Kickoff is typically a 2 to 3 hour working session. We'll walk through the project plan in detail, align on priorities, and make sure everyone knows what's happening and when. You'll leave this meeting with complete clarity on next steps.
Step 5: Ongoing Communication
We don't disappear after kickoff.
Throughout the project, we meet bi-weekly via video to review:
What's been accomplished
What's currently in progress
What's coming next
You'll always know where things stand. No chasing us down for updates, no wondering what's happening behind the scenes.
